Hand-thrown in collaboration with artisans in Sabanagrande, Honduras, and designed by Bloomist, it is finished in a deep grey patina with streaks of mossy green.

Each piece has its own pattern of tone and texture as a natural result of individual hand-finishing, with the Bloomist mark stamped into one side.

Can Terra Cotta Planters Be Used Outdoors?

Yes. Terra cotta is porous by nature, which makes it well-suited to outdoor conditions. The clay breathes, soil drains freely, and plants that prefer balanced moisture do well in it. A drainage hole is built into the base of every size. In cold climates, bring planters indoors through winter to protect the clay from frost damage.
